I am sure you all like it too. I remember my first car, 1976 Camaro, brown and fast. Many of you probably remember that car as well. I know a lot of the officers in Smithfield at that time remember that car. That is not funny… When I made my last payment and the bank sent me my Title, it had this stamp on it. “PAID IN FULL.” I liked that. “Yes, no more payments.” I could not have been happier in the moment. When I came to Christ, and recognized who I was, a sinner, I simply asked Jesus to make a FINAL payment for me. Jesus, will You pay for my Sin? At that moment, Jesus applied a final payment for my sin! You see, He died on a cross for me. That was ME and MY SIN that was suppose to be nailed on that cross. While the Lord Jesus is so patient with me and I try hard to live for Him, I still mess up. I am sure many of you are like me and mess up all the time. Jesus is so gracious. One thing that only He can do is to apply the “Paid in Full” to my mess ups. Would you TRUST Him today to apply the Paid in Full Stamp to your life. I will be waiting at the front of Temple Baptist Church of Selma, NC at the 9am and 11am worship service this Sunday morning. (August 3, 2014) Come see me and I will be sure you know how to let Jesus apply His PAID IN FULL Stamp to your Sin.
