{"id":193,"date":"2015-06-22T08:47:45","date_gmt":"2015-06-22T12:47:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.garykillebrew.org\/NEWWEB\/?p=193"},"modified":"2017-05-22T12:27:25","modified_gmt":"2017-05-22T16:27:25","slug":"dont-lose-heart","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.garykillebrew.org\/NEWWEB\/2015\/06\/dont-lose-heart\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;Don&#8217;t Lose Heart&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Psalm 27 :13-14<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><sup>13<\/sup><\/span><span class=\"s2\">I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living. <\/span><span class=\"s1\"><sup>14<\/sup><\/span><span class=\"s2\">Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Many times I don\u2019t want to wait. I feel like I am wasting time. But sometimes I need to wait. I am not wasting time, especially if I direct that time to seek God. I will say that I have felt like I have lost heart over the last several months but God has always put something or someone in my path to encourage me and then I would realize again that I believe&#8230; I believe that God has my best interests at heart. He loves me and will provide what I need. And what He provides will be His goodness in the land of the living. I could make my own way and chances are it would be the wrong way. But I could also wait on the Lord, be of good courage and He will strengthen my heart. I serve the Most High God, do I really think He will let me down. No! He would never let me down but He will give me what He knows I need. I resolve to just wait. While I wait, I will seek Him and His presence in my life. I will grow spiritually as I seek Him and I will love Him more as I seek Him. I will wait and be of good courage as He strengthens my heart. And when this season passes, I will build up His children with this testimony that He has blessed me with.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Lord, You are good. I am Your child. As I want the best for my child, You want the best for me. Lord, help me to be patient for Your will. I seek You and desire to be used greatly by You.
